TAVA's roots are in some extremely fertile soil and it's core business is branching out nicely.

I agree Terp. A long term unending rise in the share price of TAVA is unlikely for the very reasons you have mentioned.

Lets face it there just aren't that many MSFT's or CSCO's.

However, we as investors are a foolish bunch of lemmings from time to time. TAVA rose over 20% today because the shorts are afraid. They are too scared to take any risk and maintain their positions. What if the the longs are right and good earnings really do come out this quarter?

What if the conference call is a good one?

You can be certain that even if TAVA gets everything right the next five quarters that the stock will eventually be shorted extremely heavily again. Any stock that does not have a way to clearly continue revenue growth beyond the year 2000 will hit a wall.

But in the meantime? TAVA can run higher, and the lemmings will follow, as long as rapid earnings growth is specifically spelled out for the next 5 quarters.

"They know there is only 5 quarters left and then these companies go back to their roots"

There may be more than five in this case. The first two quarters of 2000 could end up being the most profitable for TAVA. Many companies will find out the hard way that there really is a Y2k problem.

There will be a great demand for remediation in factories experiencing production slow downs on a massive scale.

TAVA will be able to name its own price. It's a "pay me now or pay me later" scenario. Later is always more expensive.
