Yes, interesting, thanks. <gg> What I am REALLY interesting in seeing is this. Apparently Alex. Hamilton himself was found to have committed adultery and hidden it, even using his office in small measure to have done so. Pres. Washington and others thought this of little account, to not arise to impeachable levels, and appointed him to a high office in the war department (not Sec'y of Treasury, different moment) nonetheless. I heard this I think from Zoe Lofgren, who I think said a constituent had posted an email with full and apparently true and convincing details. I'm not sure it was her. Think so. I very much want to know. (It's not on her House site, and yes I did check.) I probably should, but haven't yet asked her by email. Doug

jpmac, wow, now that is a statement. What a great post,and now the weapon has become a new fourth branch of government. This is the most dangerous precedent to the stability of democracy the US has ever faced. What we do about independent counsels,and how we handle the future impeachment trials,and whether we abolish this branch of government will determine whether this nation will remain intact. The future is in jeopardy, do not be fooled,this will be used by both parties in the future,the branch of government is established,and it has termites,and parasites. Will this branch bring down the whole tree? Hiram
