Gil, you said, "For them to simply go somewhere where they can be happy (it dont exixt)"

I'm not an AMTD customer, and certainly won't become one after reading this thread. Judging from the gripes on this thread, E*Trade is good. And Datek is absolutely great. I'd encourage the grippers to check out either one as an alternative where they'd likely be happier. I know, I'll be checking the alternatives Baldie suggested.

" but they have outgrown their wildest dreams and if these negative nellies would just buy the stock and enjoy the ride,"

There's lots of competition out there, the firms that keep their customers happy, at a reasonable cost, will be the ones to prosper.

Sorry Gil, no offense to you or other investors, but this is the how and where people react when they have tiffs with the said companies ability or lack of ability to perform their proclaimed services. And until things get ironed out, these gripes are ON TOPIC, JMO. I think AMTD stock will do well, but we just need an avenue to get it off out chests. check this out if you think AMTD thread is alone #reply-5808297. If anything, perhaps, and it's my hopes that these companies, if truely care aboout their clients will take note of these gripes. again, this is relevant to the performance of the stock, JMO.

p.s. Who do you trade with? Have you ever experienced some of these problems that have plagued AMTD recently?, Just curious, no flaming intended.

Just remember when AOL had their probs. Now the stock price is about 7-8X what it was. Growth probs are good. Isn;t it better to have too much business and fix probs then no business??
