Scott's own words, from Yahoo!:

<<1. Heidelberg may not pay royalties or some kind of fee to
PRST for the use of "DI" or direct imaging on press as in the
new SM-74 DI. This will be, in my mind, a crushing blow to
what has been touted as the property of PRST. Failure to
secure this will be a direct sign that PRST does not own or
control this very important methodology.>>

Scott, it is pretty clear for Heidelberg's release that they are not paying royalties or a fee to PRST for the SM-74 DI. In addition, Presstek own release, just issued (not on the 'nt yet, but probably will be) makes only one reference to the SM-74 di:

"PEARLGold will also be demonstrated on the new Heidelberg
Speedmaster 74-DI press which is scheduled to be shown for
th first time at IPEX."

If there were royalties or other fees, Presstek would have mentioned them there.

No big surprises out of IPEX. I guess that means that IPEX is a crushing blow for PRST, huh Scott?
