Why will this stock even recover at all? If so, how long and what does it take for this issue to turn around and go up? ASND has done all it can and now only trades half its all time high. I wonder if CIEN will ever see 90 at all.

<<My guess is Nettle says "YES"...but links it to the share of CSCO's stock
price..say .5 (or whatever). This way CIEN shareholders can rise with CSCO.

Again, I agree with you about CIEN offering their shareholders better value by
pegging there share price to a growth monster like CSCO. However, your .5
number is WAY off. Try .3. Thats a hefty premium over CIEN's current price, and
probably more than CSCO is willing to pay, IMO. Will Nettles drop this low?
Unlikely...>>

If you read an earlier post of mine, I shared that CSCO would offer ONCE CIEN was in the $15-16 area.

CSCO values CIEN as an R&D play probably more so than a pure revenue play. Chambers wants CIEN's DWN as the next interface to their networking devices.

I'm patient...
