The issue with that article is that they allege ongoing drug use in the White House and that history of drug use may have been kept hidden in clearance process. My question was a rhetorical question. Drug use in and of itself does not disqualify one from a clearance --- the key is how they define "significant" and it depends on the demands of the job.
