Thanks Jim, It looks like a pretty nice breakout here, if it can hold above 41-42, resistance going back to Dec 97. On a fundamental note, INTS, the largest player in this field missed earnings lately, and the two co's are now pretty much tied in terms of revenues, Wind River being more profitable. Looks good for WIND. BTW, you might find the following analysis of oil interesting. oil-gasoline.com Inder

Jim, Clint, any one of you care to speculate on October? Historically a bad month, also some feel that investors in mutual funds may bail when they receive statements. I am leaning towards history to repeat. A good rally to setup a good sell off--thoughts? Jim I liked your comments on CIEN bought in on 09/16/98 at 12 21/32-ka-ching, ka-ching. I was going to sell today if it did not move. I plan on holding till Friday? I am short ALTIF holding at a minor loss right now. I've been busy at work. My hunch of WCOM moving up after the MCI merger was a flop, no damage done though! I am thinking on moving full short on MU or ANN. MU has many institutional traders, ANN is at a cyclical high. I still have a personal bone to pick with MU. I bought 256 Meg of MU memory and none of the sticks worked. I fought for my money and ended up getting a full refund. Thus far, no one contacted me to return the memory. Are they giving the stuff away and duping customers? Lachesis
