To Marginmike: The Q is clearly where the greatest revenue and earnings growth is likely - and from a current base where it is relatively cheap compared to the other telecom equip co's. No question IMO. All I was suggesting was that the Nokia prowess re phones themselves may make them a player to be reckoned with in the CDMA One iterations in the future and then 3rd gen CDMA. In GSM itself, Nokia seems to be eating Ericy's lunch in infrastructure as well as the more well know phone area. But Nokia starts from ground zero in CDMA infrastructure, so would think that will be more difficult to penetrate than the phones where Nokia has mindshare now - thanks to colors maybe - but there like it or not. As the Surfer would tell you, I am a lonely voice in the wilderness re Nortel as superior to Lucent in advanced technologies - and price possibilities starting from the current relative prices. Just marching to a different drummer. :-) Do agree that from the standpoint of large relative size, Nokia is more comparable to LU and NT than the Q which can be more flexible and faster on its feet. It is harder to turn a supertanker around than a speedboat, no? Cheers. Chaz

Mike:

Tell Micheal Dell that he couldnt compete against IBM, Compaq, and Digital.

How many people failed.... How about AST Research.... They were a "fast" grower..... How about IDTI, AMD, NSM/cyrix, Rise Technology all are fast growers....
