"Besides, the future will never come." If that is the case then what are you doing here? Most investors I know are investing for the "future". If it never comes, why bother? "If you don't study the past, you know nothing about future." Study the past, YES, bet on it, NO! Open Systems or Proprietary? You bet your money, I'll invest mine! As I said before, don't come crying around here when the Gorilla falls from the empire state building! It's not gonna be pretty! With all that said though, and being a pretty open minded being, I believe MSFT will eventually see the light and become a good corporate citizen by joining the open standards world. (If they want to continue to be a successful company) Antitrades!!
