Maple SPAM Stuffed Squash 3 small acorn squash (about 1 pound each), cut in half, seeds removed 1/2 cup sliced celery 1/4 cup chopped onion 2 tablespoons butter or margarine 1 (12-ounce) can SPAMr luncheon meat, chopped 1« cups frozen cubed hash brown potatoes 1/2 cup chopped apple 1/4 cup pure maple syrup or maple flavored syrup Heat oven to 375øF. Place squash, cut side up, in 13x9-inch baking pan. In large skillet over medium-high heat, saute celery and onion in butter until tender. Stir in SPAMr and potatoes. Cook, stirring occasionally, until potatoes are lightly browned. Stir in apple and syrup. Spoon 1/2 cup mixture into each squash half. Cover. Bake 40 to 50 minutes or until squash is tender.
