Hmm, that's interesting John, but DVD-RAM isn't what I had in mind - I was thinking of the conventional-type DVDs that you find movies on, and which can be played in home DVD players. DVD-RAM is a completely different type of media.

I guess what I was thinking of is DVD-R; does anyone know of a consumer-affordable device to record your own standard-format DVDs?

Still, I wonder if VideOh! is compatible with this Creative Labs device; suppose so. Lots of storage space; several hours worth of video for those who'd need it.
