Hi Bob,

New site up and running already... dell.excite.com

They also have dell.excite.com (leave off the www).

There isn't a corresponding excite.dell.com or excite.dell.com -- and there should be, as people might hear about the "Dell and Excite deal" or the "Excite and Dell deal".

The below is a message I sent to the "Feedback" at my.excite.com

Enjoy,
KenB

Hey guys, this partnership is an excellent idea. See the Dell thread at Subject 2993 for a ton of other great ideas. (See Message 5827705 for an interesting loop. ;-)

One that I'd like to share with you is the notion that people might hear about it as the "Dell and Excite deal," or as the "Excite and Dell deal," and get confused about the web address.

I see you already have both dell.excite.com and dell.excite.com.

May I suggest you also link excite.dell.com and excite.dell.com?

I wish you the utmost success in your endeavor.

Cheers,
KenB

PS I would like to buy you a book, _Nano_ by Ed Regis. Whoever you are, reading this (send it to your friends as well). Just email your snail address to kenbeal@bigfoot.com and I'll Amazon.com it your way. Your work address is preferred, as then you keep your privacy (i.e., I wouldn't give out my home address to a stranger -- which is why after mentioning this offer to the Dell thread, with a limit of 100, only 6 people so far have replied). At any rate, even if you don't decide to accept the gift, I urge you to check out foresight.org, zyvex.com, and alcor.org. This technology will be here in 12 years (maybe less!), and it'll completely change your world. Be prepared! You can read a review of the book at amazon.com, just type "nano ed regis" in the search box and it'll take you right to it. Enjoy!
