It does to me - I believe in compromise. That's one of the Clinton positions I agree with. However, I'm not sure his fellow Democrats would agree. Both parties have taken such extreme stances, that any compromise is seen as bad. In Clinton's case, he promised his Democrat allies he would take certain positions if they would support his compromise, and he reneged. That may be part of why some Democrats are deserting him.
