John, I used the same strategy and also wrote Oct 65s. But you are safe so long as Dell closes below 67 3/4 at expiry. Look at it this way: Dell closed at around 64 3/8. With a differential of 3 3/8 that represents a maximum potential gain of 5.24% for one month. If you annualize that it comes to around 84.6%!

Last month, I sold the September 120's for 7 1/2. It was a nice (lucky) play because I did not have to sell my shares. This time around, I'm waiting a little. And after today's Greenspan-fest, I'm probably going to wait (hope) until Dell reaches the high 60's before selling some October 70 calls. If I can get 3-4 on October 70's, that would suit me just fine. :)
