Hi Jay,
I think you make a good point in your post to John. There is a difference between long term and trade investing. Obviously with the NYSE BP reversing up, ones choices for long term positions is greater. The trades are good in the volatility but it is important that people understand that playing the downside is going against the tide. To time the Dow (if that is what you are trading) takes a crystal ball. Excellent for those that have the time.

Thanks for the nice reply. I'm looking to add, kinda averaging back in. Wish now, of course, I'd just bought all at once. I see what you mean about the nice pattern. Think I'll be patient and look for a little pull back. Then pounce! ;-)
