The only problem is this particular phone occupies the whole suitcase all by itself.

I for one have talked to a large number of high end executives, no one seems to be interested in using that monstrosity. The key for them is small size, making it convenient to have with you. As far as needing two phones one for US one for GSm countries, this is solved with a 49 dollar card from ATT Wireless. It allows you to use your US number and be reached anywhere GSM exists.

As far a IRIDF promise of being able to reach people in the middle of the desert, well they can have 100% market share in the sahara, but I do not believe that camels have credit cards.

If you think iridf is the stock to own because with one phone the whole world can talk to you, then....you are also assumming that people want to talk...to you.
