Kurt,

I sure appreciate your comments. At least I provided enough impetus to get you to read your copy of InfoStor. I was beginning to think I was the only one that subscribed. <g>

Interesting comments about Tom Ruwart. I (along with George and a number of others) would like to see some test results.

Although there certainly could be a number of mitigating factors regarding the Pacific Ocean Post loss, my competitive nature doesn't like to lose ANYTHING to Brocade. (Or anybody else, for that matter.) The timing of the change would probably tell the tale. If the MKII wasn't ready at the time POP decided to move to 1 Gig gear, then Ancor probably couldn't do much about it.

IGS is certainly the place to watch. I wish the InfoStor article had shown exactly where the MKII fit into the whole picture. It seems to me like it must reside inside the SMARTcentre cabinet, and connect to the integrated SAN shown below. That would probably mean one switch per SMARTcentre. Is that your take? I wonder how they will scale it?

<<I am beginning to feel more confident the stock price does not reflect the long-range future of Ancor.>>

I (and a lot of other ANCR investors) hope you are right. <g>
