Hmmm..... don't see mscdex.... for good measure edit config.sys and before the line that says device=c"\btccdrom\..... change it to..... REM device=c"\btccdrom\..... Save the file. Boot to windows. start->settings->control panel->system there is a button called file system. click it. What does it say under there. Does it say your system is configured for optimal performance??? Does it list any drive letters running in "compatibility mode"??? report back after looking at this and trying TC2000 again... Sean
