Kachina-

I would humbly suggest that you are wrong. My experience in Y2K dates back to late 94.

The facts:

1) State and municipal governments are in a state of denial...

2) The federal government's efforts are a quagmire of politics and incumbent bumbling.

3) Asia, Russia, and most emerging markets haven't even begun to take the issue seriously... they have no money.

4) Europe has been focused on the EMU and considers Y2K a back burner issue.

While I would welcome your "hardly a blip" description of events, I suggest that you look at the CIA's global report on Y2K they issued this spring. If you still think that there won't be any problems.... please pass whatever you are smoking....
