The press reported that Monica got P.O.'d when it was reported that the Pres. had only been on the receiving end, and therefor had stayed on the good side of the weird depo definition. She wanted to establish that she wasn't a complete weirdo case, and had gotten something beyond emotional support, as well as given. She had motive to lie. Her story is also most plausible. She is also a most frequent and easy liar, by her own voluntary statements, including in the Tripp tapes. What I really think is that to think the Presidency should be at risk over this kind of thing is to descend to a new age of Salem witch trials. Doug
