Like you, I lightened up on a few hundered shares last time when it reached 50 (to avoid margin calls when market tanks), but bought back in the low 40s.

Anybody seen any news lately, which is keeping SUNW strong in this market. I haven't seen any upgrades in the last couple of days.
My guess is that (if market remains reasonable - and that is a big IF) SUNW will make few new highs (up to 55) as we get closer to earnings, but will fall back in a range (49 - 52) after the earnings.

I am getting ready to sell covered calls (Jan 60s) as it gets closer to 55. Since we are not a YHOO or AMZN , there is always opportunity to either buy back the option or the stock when the market declines or near term SUNW perception changes (and all the fickle money managers start believing the doom and gloom MSFT scenario).

Regards

Alok

Charles,

Not that I'm complaining (far from it), but can you, or anyone else
on this thread, explain the recent rise in SUNW??? Could it have been
the recent ML report?? Earnings expectations?? Pent-up demand???
Flight to quality???

cheers,
