In an interview Rubin admitted there being problems. He however said 1990 was a much more severe crisis because of the USA budget deficit. The US has extra cash 60 Billion to tide things over until things get fixed. I think the worst has passed. The biggest problem are these Idiots in Washington who dont seem to realize there is anything going on in the world except BILL and Monica. If we can get a little focus, a little Japanese reform, and modest interest rate cuts it would stabilize things dramaticly! Those things, i would estimate, are good bets to happen.
