More general Info regarding Y2K: Hi John. Just had a talk with one of my managers today. He's heavily involved in the year 2000 committee for our province. I asked how him how he and the committee rated the various regions of the world with respect to Y2K preparedness. Australia is rated Number 1. (Depending on who you talk to) U.S., if not number one is a close second. Canada is rated third. -- preparation for these 3 countries is as best as can be expected, and getting better. Europe (U.K.included) is rated fourth -- preparation is very poor Asia and Japan -- preparation is worse than Europe South America -- preparation is non-existent Africa and the middle east -- same as South America
