JC, In your reply #66750, you mentioned UNIX or Linux as 'Robust' systems when compared to NT, and while in many ways they are, the UNIX type systems labor under architectures that are becoming 'obsolete', ie the ability to run a 'mirrored' system. I found the administration of the UNIX system quite time consuming, although very powerful. The NT system gained complexity if the security systems were used, but relatively simple if disregarded. I believe that both of the systems will continue to evolve, but IMHO, Microsoft will eventually commit enough resource to develop the superior system. After all, MSFT has replaced GE as the most 'valuable' company by some 10 Billion dollars. With that kind of cash, a significant effort could be mounted. In addition to that, UNIX is relatively 'old' when compared to NT, and NT will develop rapidly near term, again IMHO, since MSFT feels that they want to go that direction.
