SAP is a great German software giant. MSFT of Germany you might say. It is also a very high p/e stock. I am SAP bull in the long term (3-5 years) but short term (2-6 months) SAP due to my market concerns.

Very serious. In my opinion, SAP is THE global client/server applications company. They have no peer, though the closest are Peoplesoft and Oracle. To give you an idea, both Intel and Microsoft run their core business processes on SAP.

Growth in Japan is 60%+, even in that environment.

The caveats are price (which is high), and concern that the latest revenue growth may be a bubble fueled by Y2K.

Also doubled SEBL at 26, and took an initial position in EBAY at 46.
