After all the discussion and Datek trashing, it looks like NO ONE was bought-in for any stock.

What is Datek doing?!?

Friday Buy-in.

I am temped to compare the role of Datek with telephony.

If someone threatens you over telephone that you will be killed tomorrow, 12 pm, then you usually do not terminate the telephone service or tear the handset into pieces. Maybe you go to the police or simply - do nothing.

The devil is to be found in rogue borrowers: In times where stocks are scarce to lend, and with little inhouse stock, all of the brokerages including Datek may find it hard to sustain an uninterrupted lending of shares.

Finally, my short shares have not been bought in, either.

C.
