Well let's see here... Micron owns MUEI but also sells memory to
MUEI's customers; dell, compaq, gateway, apple, etc. hmmm.

Intel would get guaranteed memory source plus as an "added"
bonus a lap dog computer maker to test it's Rambus designs.
If MUEI can prove the Rambus system then that gives Intel
more power to pressure the other computer manufacturers.

Looks good for Intel and Mu both.

when INTC started doing the motherboards everyone thought they were about to release a branded machine. i can see this as a step in that direction. maybe thats why CPQ is keeping alpha and AMD alive and kicking.

at any rate, this, if true, has got to be one of the worst investment decisions INTC has ever made.
