Yes, I see: more money for the DRAM people means less money for the Processor people. Intel wants to be on the high end of the see-saw. Thanks.

I also didn't realize RMBS was more complex and difficult to manufacture. Have you heard of the Virtual Memory Channel, and if so have any opinions? I saw one opinion that there is a little hype relating to Rambus and it's high speed, whereas it is weak regarding latency. Intel likes Rambus for its multimedia potential, whereas VMC might be better for servers.
