David: Yes, I see: more money for the DRAM people means less money for the Processor people. Intel wants to be on the high end of the see-saw. Thanks. I also didn't realize RMBS was more complex and difficult to manufacture. Have you heard of the Virtual Memory Channel, and if so have any opinions? I saw one opinion that there is a little hype relating to Rambus and it's high speed, whereas it is weak regarding latency. Intel likes Rambus for its multimedia potential, whereas VMC might be better for servers. eet.com wily
