<<Maybe we'll even get Lew Green posting again?>>

I heard SI is paying him not to post. They found it was cheaper to pay him than have to buy additional file storage capacity <VBG>.

Short-term and long -term buy signals this week in MXAM.

See em? The best to look at is Williams R%. It is like a real sensitive RSI. Price rises ALWAYS start by this going into the area over 70 and STAYING THERE for several days. This pattern is real easy to spot. It is just forming now. RSI Looks similar.

Easier to spot is a price move up.

This is a bottom fishing buy signal. If this isnt a spike, the price will go up from here. It will take a couple days to play out.

Ideally, we want to see the price come down to the 13 dayEMA and "bounce off" the average line upwards with a volume spurt. It will mean the price failed to go down into an area of weakness... ie the moving average. Also, active buying is going on.

It's simple. When a stock is "strong" it is above the line. When it's weak, below. Price ONLY moves up when the price stays above the line and only moves down when it is below the line. Common sense isn't it?

Speaking of active buying... accum trendline UP. Haven't seen this in several months.

This could be the real thing. It may take several "bounces" to get going after such a severe slide.

We'll see.

For once I say GO MXAM !!
