Hey JC! You may want to add the delay of the merced 64-bit NT to that also! What about the Y2K situation? How much faith is there in MSFT? There are alot of things going on right now in the technology world. All I can do is try to get as much information as I can and make my decisions based on the information I accumulate. I'm thinking that 1999 is going to surprise alot of people! Antitrades!!

Hi JC - What about this change in perception.... I do not recall reading about this last year...Linux is the first step to SOLARIS! Microsoft says Linux making gains on Windows (http://biz.yahoo.com/rf/980925/bg4.html) I agree with your observations but it really may take another year and continued strong earnings before we see $75-$80. I just want management to continue to grow the company and stay focused on what they do right. Hardware, Software and Internet integration solutions (e-commerce transaction servers, Jini plug-in devises, enterprise storage products, Preloaded Solaris platforms workstations and small E-business servers using Intel Merced and next generation Sparc processors) Sunw needs to develop a marketing slogan like Intel has done with "Intel Inside" ..... what about "E-Commerce SOLARIS ready...". It should be very exciting to watch how SUNW capitalizes on these opportunities for the future. EKS
