"The Government of Belize would like to..."

I'm getting tired of this crap, too....but it's important to me to find out just who or what the above statement refers to...

The government of Belize has, like the U.S., numerous players who all seem to have their own agendas. Some, undoubtedly, still have allegiances to the former ruling Party. Unless and until I see a government official's name attached to this "press release", in light of what we already have seen, I will remain invested in the vision and forward-thinking of the CEO of PRWT.

...and not some backwater, whining, disgruntled government employee who leaks unsubstantiated releases to the media.

JMHO, and my investment dollars, too, of course.

Oh, and Bullhorn, don't try and throw me your slimey lifeline. I will either sink or swim on my own, without help from you self-appointed "saviors".

Regarding the re-release on the Belize Times, I took it upon myself to write them last friday explaining the false nature of the news release, and directed the editing staff to Minister Dickie Bradley, as well as to the Top Dog Belize Report site where they can see for themselves that Affordable Housing is indeed in Belize, and working with the current government. Just give it time, this false release is of course going to hit all the news wires down there before it is cleared up. I don't think the new government is at all "pathetic" as you put it, just a bad seed somewhere. A little more patience, it will be resolved according to investors here who have spoken to the Ministers themselves. A reminder to all: Top Dog news report:

Am I the only one . . . Every time I click on the article from the
Belize newspaper entitled "Foreign company exposed" I keep getting the
actual news article for the previous headline "Fire Destroys 4 Houses". I can't access the PRWT article by clicking on any of the
headlines.

I realize that the "Press Release" has been picked apart, dissected, interpreted, paraphrased, etc. many, many times, but I would like to offer my thoughts on it as well, so here goes.........

"The Government of Belize would like to inform the people of Belize and other interested persons outside of Belize that a foreign company by the name "Pan American Bancorp" (PRWT) in the US is claiming that it has an agreement with the Government to conduct mortgage banking in Belize.

"This company, according to information, is advertising on the internet, claiming that it has already received six thousand mortgage applications from Belizean citizens through its wholly-owned subsidiary called "Affordable Housing Group Ltd," which is located in Belize.

"The Government of Belize would like to categorically declare that it is not aware of any guarantee of these mortgages or any mortgages as claimed by this foreign company. The Government also wishes to inform members of the public and other persons outside of Belize that the Government of Belize does not have any agreement of any kind with this foreign company and the Central Bank of Belize to conduct mortgage banking.
"

The above three paragraphs state the following:

1. The government is not aware of any guarantees...... which doesn't mean that they don't exist, whether they be made by the "government" or anyone else.

2. PRWT claims that AHG has received 6000 applications. They aren't disputing this, only that they are unaware of any guarantee of these mortgages!

3. The government has no agreement with (PRWT) and the Central Bank of Belize to conduct mortgage banking. So? Maybe an agreement isn't necessary, or there isn't an agreement between all three parties - government, PRWT and bank. In any event, there is no agreement - which is irrelevant since this foreign company doesn't intend to conduct mortgage banking.

"However, in the spirit of economic development the Government of Belize, welcomes foreign investments that will stimulate economic stability, but, it will engage in such investment projects in a manner that is transparent and is committed to encourage and foster investment that will ensure economic stability and national development through the creation of jobs for all Belizeans."

The above is my favorite paragraph. What it says is that they welcome this type of activity, but it will engage such activity without agreements, guarantees, etc. and their participation will be transparent, as in invisible, unpublicized, quietly, without fanfare! Is PRWT's real sin, the publicity?

"Members of the public in Belize and outside of Belize are therefore advised to exercise due prudence and diligence before making any investment with this company or its subsidiary. (Press Release) "

Again, so what? This should be standard for any investment. Don't invest believing that your investment is guaranteed by the Government of Belize. What's new? It isn't guaranteed by the Government of the United States either.

I can just imagine the government of Belize using the term due diligence. My advice to you is ---sell and save yourself lots of grief when any hiccup comes along on this stock. IMO

TCAT,

I agree with you that this is more crap for PRWT to have to contend with. That particular article didn't have a date or author listed...so there's no way to be sure when that was written the way it's currently presented.

I also would find it odd that it would have been published on either the 22nd or 24th as those dates are after the ribbon cutting ceremony that took place...and which I might add several (200?) people attended. Not only do we have eye witness accounts, but we also have some shareholders who saw the videotape at the shareholders meeting a few days ago. These individuals were very thorough in their interrogation of John and even asked many questions during the viewing of the video tape. Accordingly, there was also a reporter from Channel 5 who was very happy about the events that were taking place (captured on video),...hmmm, wonder if somebody is getting their palms greased under the table, so to speak.

We'll just have to watch closely to what direction the government will take in the coming weeks. Hopefully, they will take a stance in proactive support of PRWT, as their people will benefit from the alliance. And this alliance could prove very useful in forth coming elections. I'm sure that John understands more than we do as to the political maneuverings, and has taken appropriate steps. For now, we just have to continue reporting what we find and continue to question John and see what comes out in a PR from PRWT, which hopefully should be soon.
