jhild, I guess you don't consider perjury to be any big deal. This isn't about Republican morality. It's about committing a crime. Perjury and obstruction of justice are serious crimes for the President of the United States.

Just look at the example of leadership that is.

Leadership means more than pointing the finger at someone else. Trent Lott is one representative. Do we need to go after all the Democrats with morality problems. No we don't, because none of them lied in court. Otherwise Barney Frank would be lambasted out of congress for running a gay prostitution ring from his apartment.

It's as simple as that.

Benedict Arnold was the hero of Saratoga, and saved the Continental Army from destruction. Billy has no such heroic past. He's a mere hedonist looking to gratify his appetites.
