Thanks Douglas,

I used to have to run down vouchers for journal entries in my youth. The company was quite large. I moved on to profit and loss statements and government reports.

I had a feeling the record keeping was dismal. This could take a while if they have to get documentation now.

Colleen

<Think about it. You need receipts for everything.Thats all i can say!>

In other words there is evidence of FRAUD, money missing that can not be accounted for through receipts.

Real SIMPLE, its called a journal entry with a note to the financial statement. Fact is the CASH is gone, NOW account for it without receipts.

Note would read as follows:

"The management of GE has audited the records of the Bolivian subsidiary and found $$$$$ unaccounted for. We have recorded these as an expense which for tax purposes we will get no relief. We believe we have been defrauded and turned our records over to the Bolivian authorities to follow up"

IT IS NOT ROCKET SCIENCE.
