John, let me ask you this:

Have you been holding CBS stock all through the various ups and downs over the past two years in the hopes of seeing $42 ? Have you considered selling when it hit $36 3/6 and dropped, hit $34 1/2 and dropped and then hit $34 3/4 and tanked & selling for the purpose of buying back in and yielding yet more CBS stock ?

Regarding TWX and $42 You have finally gotten my interest regarding TWX and CBS. I don't know why but you have sugegsted something that now I have attached my hopes too. I need some evidence though for your speculation. For example, since cable can't own TV-locals how can TWX pull it off ? Why would TWX want TVnet CBS ? And wouldn't the poison pill cancel any efforts ? At what point would you consider bagging the $42 hopes and just getting out at the 1st sign of $30 ?

Regarding CBS not making any money: That isn't the case, If you look at the whole TV unit as a combo of efforts of TV locals and TV Net you come to a quite different conclusion regarding net profits. Why do you insist on taking the TV net out of context ?

PS: By-the-way: I am stilling holding my CBS shares. The $29 1/2 lot is down of course double digit percentage wise. Last week I got a bunch more at $26 9/16th for the purpose of averaging down. I even went into the hole (margin) and exchanged Jan30 calls for April30 calls for just $1 extra. So I am in over my head $$$$ in CBS stock.

Thanks
