A Tabby tipster working in the world of handhelds says Casio and Everex have shipped their last palm-size PC units to retailers. Sales through retail channels aren't good, and the return rates are even worse, running between nine and 13 of every 20 units shipped, the tipster said.

On the equipment side of the telco business, a pal of the Puss reports that he was surfing around Lucent's site for some information on its data networking business. He came across one article that includes a link to Lucent's "vision of networking." The page, and perhaps the vision as well, was missing.
