Pat,

Thanks again. Another job well done. NN's has some fabulous assets with their affiliates and this seems to have been confirmed once again.

For all of us not able to attend and possibly the markets, there was an expectation of a major deal or new win to be announced (other than the South African deal). Tech stocks did well last week, yet NN stayed level. Did you get a feeling of expectations not being met from other analysts present ? Why this stock is staying at these low levels seems beyond reason, given your report and other reports of people present last week.

Any idea when NN will rebound in the market ? TIA.

Cheers,

Peppe

Pat, if gross margin for 99 is 0.583 , cost 0.385 ( tax rate 30% and 178 mil. outstanding shares ) and exhange rate 1.5 NN with assumption of no sequention growth(hard to belive) from 426 mil(Q1) in Q2,Q3 and Q4 will make 0.87$ US what is above 0.83.Thay seems to be very, very conservative.
Any comments?

Zbyslaw

Pat: This is an extract from post # 6673:

<Alan Lutz, the company's new president and chief operating officer, admitted Newbridge still has plenty of work to do to improve its sales strategies and profile. He promised an overhaul of the sales department and more marketing in the U.S.He also hinted at a continued reduction in Newbridge's two-year-old relationship with German telecommunications giant Siemens AG, its marketing and product development partner. The first major product of that partnership, a 50-gigabit asynchronous transfer mode switch dubbed the 36190, is generally acknowledged to be a dud.>

If this Switch is a dud what alternative switches does
NN have to offer the Carriers. Also in the Carrier class, how does NN's switches stack up against LU and NT. In the Enterprise class how does NN's switches compare with those of BAY,CSCO,FORE and CS.

Could you also confirm if NN's current Network Mgmt system has an open architecture and can be used with other SSR's

Thanks.
