Tell me honestly, do you think Gore will be left alone to do the job, or are we going to have to go through yet another brouhaha, this time over campaign financing (telephone calls from the White House, the Buddhist fundraiser, & etc.)??

It certainly does look as if Straight Arrow Al has not been as straight as he should have been. But if we are going to hassle him, too, then why bother putting the country (and the rest of the world) through the trauma of impeachment?

Actually, I think Al has a better handle on foreign policy than Bill does. Can't be sure, though. In my opinion, American presidents in general tend to have problems with foreign policy -- as do their advisors. It's because they just don't understand foreigners, who have a way of not behaving like Americans. But that is another story...
