With the defeat of Helmut Kohl, most of the major Western nations are headed by Socialists: UK, France, Germany, US, and even in Japan, where the communists are a major player in the bank reform plan. We've had this run of prosperity under conservative leadership in US, UK, and Germany. The Greens and the Reds now head the German coalition. One of their plans is to introduce a tax on assets in addition to the already high tax on income.
