Perhaps another way to look at it might be to take the ComputerWare numbers and then extrapolate that out among all the small Mac shops. Aren't there still 2000 of those?

But I agree, it's really hard to handicap this quarter. Too many issues to figure out. Education sales are still key. If this quarter continues the growth shown last quarter in that space, look out.

Should be a great conference call, showing great cash flow, the first gain in education market share in years, the first serious worldwide market share gains in years, solid revenue, etc.

I agree that there's not much use to arguing further without more concrete information. I would just like to add one more thing: I would be absolutely *dumbfounded* if July sales experienced anything akin to your suggested 25% month-to-month plummet. Supply constraints in July? Sure. As there were in just about every other month for AAPl since Q2.
