Personally, I think these distinctions are simply academic and not terribly relevant. The Card is the profit engine -- margins 20-60 percent (depending on whether sold through dealer or directly) -- and is the product that TSIG is marketing. Obviously, though, CCI has a responsibility to ensure that CDs will indeed be available for sale. The product must back up the Card, otherwise the Card is as worthless as the ruble. The Card and music are two pieces of the same puzzle, and TSIG can't go to market until both components are up to speed and ready to go.
