the USA protects their intellectual property without the company needing to go to a court in the country concerned.

Prove it that the US in all cases will protect their companies IPRs. It isn't helping companies getting screwed in China.

Mqurice & co: if Q has strong case with its IPRs towards W-CDMA (which it may or may not have) that will be acknowledged also in Europe. There is much more at stake than this one issue.
