Chuca, <<they DON'T I just learned>> Who did you hear that from? Our paranoid poster has put out a lot of misinformation on this thread in the last few days. I'm reluctant to even begin to address his nonsense in that it may give it some credibility which it doesn't deserve. He doesn't have a clue and I'm not about to help. Maybe we should just ignore his nonsense and only address questions raised by people with legitimate concerns?

Cassiar gold camp consolidated

Cusac Gold Mines Ltd CQC
Shares issued 17,634,131 Sep 25 close $0.18
Mon 28 Sept 98 News Release
Mr. Guilford Brett reports
Cusac Gold Mines has optioned the Taurus property from International Taurus
Resources adjacent to Cusac's producing Table Mountain mine near Cassiar in
north central B.C.
Under the agreement, Cusac has the right to earn a 60 per cent interest in
the property through the payment of 400,000 shares and the incurring of a
minimum of $1,700,000 of exploration expenditures over four years. The
minimum expenditure of $300,000 over the first two years of the agreement
will increase by $50,000 for every calendar month in which the London gold
price fixing averages above $320 per ounce. A further 10 per cent may be
earned through the completion of a bankable feasibility study. Cusac Gold
Mines has also agreed to remove the existing mill machinery and buildings
in the first year of the option agreement. While the option agreement is in
good standing, Cusac gold Mines has the right to mine up to 250,000 tonnes
per year from the Taurus property subject to a 2.5 per cent nsr. Any ore
mined will be milled at Cusac's Table Mountain facility.
The Taurus project, comprising 93 claim units over 5,300 acres, is
approximately 117km north of Dease Lake, B.C. adjacent to Cusac's Table
Mountain mine. Work done by Cyprus-Amax, its predecessors on the project
and International Taurus Resources, has developed a drill
indicated/inferred resource of 31 million tonnes grading 0.024 oz. through
exploration expenditures of over $6-million. Within this resource, drill
indicated resource total 13.9 million tonnes grading 1.01 gms/t (400,000
oz.).
Cusac Gold Mines believes that within the existing resource base, the
possibility exists for high grade underground deposits as well as higher
grade open pit deposits and will explore for these commencing next summer.
Cusac, with its existing infrastructure adjacent to the property, is in an
ideal position to develop and place into production medium-scale open pit
reserves.
Mining is continuing on the extension of the Bear Vein east of the Erickson
fault. Results to date are better than expected. Milling began on Sept. 18.
Gold concentrate shipments will commence this week.

Chucka: Re: Jello. This was general info provided by production manager; he didn't say that it happened at MXAM site, just that it was a problem and required them to dispose of the tailing water rather than use it again.
For all of you geology buffs: If you are in the LA area, you might check out the art exhibit by Cindy Medlin at the Chatsworth Fine Arts Festival this weekend. Cindy's dad was a geologist and her work is very original (I would call it wall sculpture rather than painting) on a geologic motif. Pretty nice stuff. The Festival will be held at the Chatworth Metrolink, 10038 Old Depot Plaza Road in the SF Valley. So, if you have a blank wall left, check it out.
