It gets included in the S&P 500 after the thursday close. So there
will be heavy buying on Friday as well. Thus you will be able to
load up on it before the Index funds have to buy.

Does this make sense? If so it should hit $45

Do you have any recent examples of stocks that S&P announced would join the 500?

It would be interesting to look at the charts and see what might be in store for PSFT.
