Ted,
Might also be useful to have the correct chart of the company on screen when discussing the stock. This A.M. you had Peter Cohan discussing, what seemed to be CHKPF, a firewall/security software company out of Israel with a PE of 15. The Chart you had on screen was of CKP, a fire alarm company out of New Joisey with a PE of over 50. Big dif. in price too.

No wonder your reporter took issue with what your guest was talking about --- might have been real interesting if they were in agreement.
This has happened once or twice before since I started watching you guys....for some viewers it could be a real prob. :-).

Ted..... sure would be nice if CNBC would show the Dow, Nas, and S&P bug numbers and up/down arrows in green, red, and white to indicate up, down, and unch. As we viewers grow older, the arrows become gold blobs and the numbers become white blurs. Been watching/enjoying CNBC for years. Used to enjoy your posts on *P. Best Wishes, El

Ted,

A couple of week ago, you mentioned in an interview with one
of your guests that you had spent 20 years in radio. As a fan
of radio in its "golden" era (roughly late '50s to mid '70s),
I would be interested to hear more about your radio career
(when, where, what, etc.).

Justin

Ted.... about 3 weeks ago I sent an e-mail to Squawk Box and then one to you on this board(#1831 on 9/29),suggesting that the up/down arrows and/or the numbers on the bugs in the right lower corner of the screen be changed from gold to green/red/white to reflect up/down/unch. Well, you guys DID IT!!! It's really great to know that our(the viewers)messages are read and appreciated. Thankyou CNBC! El

Ted:

Green and red ticker symbols are a good idea. You can deal with the red-green color blind issue by putting the losing red symbols and numbers over a dark background, unless there is a technical difficulty in doing this.

Even better...call it "Pump & Dump Profiles"...

Most any time a very small cap is even mentioned on CNBC in a somewhat favorable tone the stock immediately goes up 20-50%.

A regularly scheduled small/micro-cap program would attract a lot of scam artists looking to profit from hyping stocks they own...

just my opinion...
