The 7 phases of how to act when a hurricane approaches:

Denial. "That thing is still off the coast of Africa. It'll take weeks to get here. Besides, we can't have a hurricane, I've got _________ to deal with this week."

Bargaining. "Wait a minute. Didn't we just get flattened by Andrew 6 years ago? It's somebody else's turn."

Panic. "Oh crap. I've got one termite-eaten 2X4 in the garage to cover 6 windows and 2 sliding glass doors. My backup food supply consists of 2 cans of sardines. Time to go shopping, with everyone else in town.

Violence. At Home Depot: "Hand me that sheet of plywood right now, or you'll be pulling splinters from your butt till Christmas."

Resignation. "Okay. Landfall is expected in 4 hours. After 8 hours of shopping, I managed to add one 2X4 and one C-size battery to my supplies. The airport is closed. The highway going north is clogged and gridlocked. There's nobody on TV but meterologists. I believe the Latin term is: Excrementis Impactis Ventilatis.

Bloody Terror. "What the hell was that sound? I'm too young and cute to die!"

Relief. "It's trashing the Keys and leaving my house intact. Phew! Thought I'd never get out of this diaper......"

Well there ColleenB, there is nothing in any of that which suggests that Alpha National Building Society (ANBS) exists in Belize, is a subsidiary of Affordable Housing Group, Ltd. and is licensed to do mortgage banking and/or financing in Belize.

Kick up all the other distractions you want. This is still unestablished. Your boys could come up with the paperwork to show Affordable Housing was a company in Belize, then they should be able to come up with the paperwork now to show that ANBS has been duly constituted and licensed there as well.

Good luck.
