MB - I like the reference to sand in my shorts - clever.

The two most overused words on these threads are "facts" and "scam." "Fact" is often used for "it is my belief..." and "scam" is often used for "I do not understand this completely, but something ain't kosher in NY..."

A couple of things to realize...
(1) Please, you do not know who you are talking to. I KNOW. There is no fraudualent scam. But I do admit the perception of the market blew WFR's price way above justified valuation.
(2) I do not fall for anything. I bought WFR at 29, and sold at 53 and 33.

My investment style is based on the fundamental understanding of a business cycle. My trading style is based on that, plus technical analysis.

Now for the obvious....

In a business cycle, things change over time.
(uh ..... duh)

The not so obvious? If one does a LOT of homework to gain an understanding of the true fundamental drivers - one can make money - both up and down.

Now, a teaser. Go punch up the 7-year stock chart for KLIC and you will see a beautiful sine wave with a huge magnitude. The question you should ask yourself is "why?" Once you understand the answer, then you can make a fundamental determination whether we will see KLIC go from 14 to 60 within the next 15 months. Do I own it? Yes. Will I short it at 60? Yes.
