They shipped it anyway and fixed it with a software patch. Thus 1) and 2) applied. When the Xeon was shipped it also has a bug in it. Intel shipped it anyway. Several years ago Intel shipped the Pentium that had a FPU bug in it. They KNEW IT 2 YEARS in advance but refused to fix the problem. They denied it ever exited and consumers raised hell. Then they admitted it. What a HYPROCRITE company. Did I use your definition HYPROCRITE correctly here? BTW do you know still believe that the Xeon or Katmai are faster than K7 or still have some doubts? Maxwell
