Hey Blue --- I've still not decided on a futures broker. The neighbor lady (one that got Scoot asking about using her ...ggg) is a little pricey, but seemingly reliable and with quick execution. If you would be so kind as to give me a contact name and number for Man on the electronic hook up, I would appreciate it. I note that you're advocating ignoring Greenspan and trading as if it were a normal day ......... let me relate what happened yesterday ...... the situation appeared, according to my read of my charts, data, etc .... (done without BBx but in the same manner) that the time was ripe to buy OEX calls ----- I had the screen loaded for 5 contracts and was ready to push the send button WHEN Marilyn came in the door and momentarily distracted me .... Henry Hyde came on TV live and made me glad that my sweet one had diverted my attention ..... FOR the FA from Hyde overcame the TA that I had discerned .... and as you recall ...... after Hyde left the air, the SPX and OEX reversed and went up .... but too late for me as I had capitulated in my purchase and chose to wait on the sidelines...... I feel the Greenspan effect today, or at least in my readings ....... It's a gamble as to what the market will do, and I don't like to gamble, what with being a cheapo type of fellow. I did catch the slight up this morning from SPX 1051.50 to 1054 just before noon but I'm sitting on the sidelines now until tomorrow. I've learned the hard way that FA can over run and over rule the best TA that I can come up with. but then I thought the Cowboys would beat the Raiders Sunday, too...... the FA that the Boys kept shooting themselves in the foot was more compelling than the TA that the Boys have a better team ....... gggggg This server error is very distracting to me and being old and cranky, I have a short fuse ..... the erratic acceptance of the posts and reads on SI has me upset to a degree ......
