Afternoon Jane --"I don't like to pray for someone to stay in the office of the President that I cannot discuss his office activities with other decent people"-- I couldn't agree more!! That's why I pray for him to come to a saving knowledge of our Lord, as opposed to remaining in office. The Lord will know when he's telling the truth, I'm afraid I never will. (and won't someone please tell me I shouldn't talk politics on a "religious" thread--I'm sick and tired of always hearing just the opposite) :-)

There is a sifting going on. We are seeing God's plan in action. The goats are being separated from the sheep. Mal 4:5-7 5 Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the LORD: 6 And he shall turn the heart of the fathers to the children, and the heart of the children to their fathers, lest I come and smite the earth with a curse. 7 THE END OF THE PROPHETS. This is what my call to prayer is all about! Note the plural is fathers. ______________ ______________ Jane on another subject. You have many times spoken of the disappearing of so many birds. About a year and a half ago I noticed the gathering of some Ravens in some neighborhoods, and was struck with the feeling of coming evil. This past Friday thousands, (no kidding) on one small culdesac began gathering in trees and lawns. I witnessed this with my own eyes, and heard with my own ears the wretched ear piercing screams these scavengers made. The silence of this peaceful suburban neighborhood had been broken for the time span of exactly 1 hr. I knew in my heart, mind and soul, that this was a disturbance that I was called to witness. It was a sign from God. There is, I know with my whole being, something going on in the heavens. God is preparing to bring all of His plan to a mighty and glorious end....Praise His Holy Name! If only God's people would close their natural eyes, they would see more clearly with their spiritual eyes! I should also add that the Raven incident happened 2 weeks after my starting the Call to Prayer chain! The goal of this Call to Prayer is to open the eyes of the blind.! And to have God's people stand up, take notice and be counted...make no compromises!!. It is also a prayer to warn those followers of Jesus to pay heed to His word and be not deceived!. Matt 24:23-27 23 Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here is Christ, or there; believe it not. 24 For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect. 25 Behold, I have told you before. 26 Wherefore if they shall say unto you, Behold, he is in the desert; go not forth: behold, he is in the secret chambers; believe it not. 27 For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. The warning bell has been sounded........ The 6th trump is not far behind. Love to you Jane, and all in the name of our precious Lord Jesus the Christ. Jane, dear, please stop holding back. We all want to know what you really think. (g) I understand what you mean with regard to Raymond, although it reminds me of the fact that people are always saying "I wouldn't want to live like that; I'd rather die" when they're healthy. Then when they get the disease, they fight to live like everybody else. At any rate, that's why I try to remember to add "if it be Your will" or words to that effect, at the end of prayers for the sick, or for other mundane things. But I don't put that at the end of prayers for someone's salvation, because I remain firmly convinced God's will is that everyone be saved. As to Bill C., I'll pray for his salvation, but that doesn't mean I pray he remains in office. Even if he claims to be saved, that doesn't necessarily mean earthly sanctions should be removed for his actions. Prisoners get saved every day; it doesn't mean they should get out early.
