Bill, do you ever watch this TV show "Ally McBeal" (my favorite show) which is a lawyer show, and I think the most popular comedy right now? It was on after the Giants/Cub baseball game last night....see it?

Because on that show, which takes place in a LAWYERS OFFICE, last night the newly hired female associate lawyer asked the male partner (who is about 15 yrs older) on a date.... at which point he dug his 3" platform shoes out of his closet and started to dance to Barry White songs in the bathroom.

Isnt that overt sexual harassment as per the Vaughn/jlallen legal code? And what do you make of the fact that the 50 year old partner seems genuinely interested in this lowly "associate". How can that be... doesnt she know shes about to get used and disgarded! What a silly creature!

And in the credits it says all the scripts are reviewed by 4 separate law forms for legal correctness. Wouldnt you think sexual harassment would have come up even once?

truly,
Michelle

I prefer to be called part of the 'Hang Him" crowd.

Oh, please, Bill--"Throw the bums out" is a time-honored American motto, which I would not think of denigrating. Can you really believe that the "Throw Him Out Crowd" is a "biassed characterization"?

BigD, for example, proposes it be called the "Hang Him" crowd, which (if the suggestion came from me) might be perceived as even more biassed, because of its lynch-mob connotations.

Must we argue about everything?

Bill - I guess I'd have to say I'm in the "I just wish he wasn't President, but there's not a damn thing we can do about it" uh, crowd? <g>
